The Heart of the Operation
Born and raised in Greece, she moved to Sweden at the age of 16, where she met my father, whose roots are in Croatia. Together, they had my brother and me. She spent most of her life working as a kindergarten teacher and is now retired (or semi-retired, as she still helps out when in Sweden).
From around 2000 to 2010, they owned and operated a restaurant in Sweden. After selling it, they bought a second house in Croatia, intended just for summer rentals. This marked the start of our journey into Croatian tourism.
The One with the Plan
Born in Sweden in 1983, I’ve spent nearly every summer in Croatia since my birth. After my football “career” ended at 32, I discovered cycling—and quickly caught the bug.
In 2016, I brought my bike to Croatia for the first time. As I explored the region, my appreciation for it transformed. Cycling opened my eyes to the amazing beauty of this region in ways I hadn’t seen before, and that’s when the seeds of my dream were planted
Turning dreams into reality is often interrupted by life, doubt and insecurities, but I finally told myself, “I don’t want to grow old and regret not having at least tried.”
So now I’ve started a website for the first time, trying to manage everything that comes with it (Hej Anders!), and trying to get this project of the ground.
The easy part is hosting cyclists—I’m confident we have something special here, both in the cycling experience and how we take care of our guests. The challenge is getting people to take the leap and book with us.
We’ll see where this journey takes us and me. It sure has been fun getting started, even the blogging part..

House on Krk Island
What really started it all for me and us.
Initially, I was somewhat reluctant to get involved with tourism. However, as I spent more time in Croatia and became more engaged with helping my parents out, two things became clear. First, I genuinely enjoyed the hospitality business. Second, I realized that Croatia has much more potential than just the peak tourist months of July and August.
Why Choose Us?
Firstly, it’s not us you are choosing—you’re choosing cycling in the stunning Kvarner Bay, with its fantastic routes and breathtaking scenery. What we offer is our local knowledge and a deep passion for creating a seamless experience. From taking the guesswork out of your route planning to preparing delicious meals before and after each ride, we ensure everything is taken care of so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying the ride.
Going a little deeper, I’d say it’s my genuine love for this little paradise of mine that drives everything I do in tourism here in Croatia.
I always say Kvarner is an acquired taste, and you’ll quickly know where you stand once you set foot here. There are no long stretches of sandy beaches – sand gets stuck everywhere anyway. Instead, you’ll find cliffs and rocky shores. Look out at the water, and you won’t see a distant horizon but a constellation of beautiful islands. Turn around, and you’ll be greeted by magnificent mountains stretching along the coast as far as the eye can see. The best part? You get to ride up those mountains, where no camera in the world can capture the breathtaking views.
That’s the raw beauty of this region, and it’s what makes cycling here so unforgettable.
You either fall in love with this place or never come back. But if you do fall in love, you’ll want to return and ride these roads again and again, just like I do.
